Non-Surgical Aesthetic Clinic in Gateshead

Our clinic is in Whickham, which is Gateshead. Not near Gateshead, not a short drive from it. Whickham sits inside the borough, about four miles west of Gateshead town centre, so if you have been searching for a clinic in Gateshead you have already found one.

That matters more than it sounds. Most of the people who come to us for body and face work live within fifteen minutes of the door: Low Fell, Dunston, Blaydon, Winlaton, Sunniside, Rowlands Gill, Birtley, Team Valley. A lot of them had been looking at clinics in the city centre and putting it off because of the parking.

Where we are and how to get here

Front Street is the main road through Whickham village. There is free parking on the street and in the village car parks, which is the bit people usually mention first when they arrive. Buses from Gateshead Interchange and the Metrocentre both run up to Whickham village. By car the Metrocentre is roughly ten minutes away and Team Valley is a little over that.

If you are coming from further out, the A1 is five minutes away, so Birtley, Chester-le-Street and Washington are all reachable inside twenty minutes outside of rush hour.

What we actually do

We are non-surgical only. No scalpels, no general anaesthetic, no two weeks off work. Every treatment is carried out by a trained practitioner and we have a qualified nurse practitioner in the clinic for any medical questions.

The work splits into three rough groups.

Fat reduction. Fat freezing for pinchable pockets that will not shift with training, and Emerald laser for larger areas and overall circumference. If you want to know which areas respond and which do not, we have written that up in detail on our page about the areas fat freezing works on.

Lifting and tightening. HIFU for the face, jaw and neck, and HIFU body for skin laxity on the stomach, arms and thighs. BTL Exilis Ultra where the skin needs warming and firming rather than lifting.

Shape and tone. EMS muscle sculpting for abdominal and glute tone, and Body Ballancer compression therapy for fluid and puffiness.

Three things come up again and again.

Stomach fat after children. Usually a mix of a pinchable layer and skin that lost its snap, which means freezing alone will not finish the job. We tend to freeze first and tighten second. Our guide to belly fat removal without surgery covers the first part, and skin tightening the second.

What a first appointment is like

You come in, we talk, we look, and we tell you what we think. If the thing you have asked for is not the right treatment for what you have got, we will say so. That happens fairly often with fat freezing, because a lot of people arrive expecting it to do something about weight, and it does not. It reduces a pocket. That is a different job.

Nobody is put under pressure to book on the day. You get a price, you get a realistic number of sessions, and you go away and think about it if you want to.

What it costs

Prices depend on the area and how many sessions you need, and both of those are set at the consultation rather than guessed over the phone. Current pricing for every treatment is on the price list. Payment plans are available on the larger courses.

Why people come here rather than into town

Parking, mostly. Then the fact that the same person sees you every time, so you are not explaining your history again to somebody new at session four.
