Freeze LIPO

Freeze LIPO, also known as fat freezing is an advance non-surgical liposuction.

Are you troubled by stubborn pockets of stubborn fat that just won’t budge, no matter how hard you diet or exercise. RT Aesthetics could help reduce your lumps, bumps and bulges of stubborn fat with our 360 Lipo Fat Freezing treatments.

Fat Freezing, or Cryolipolysis can selectively target stubborn areas of fat cells, such as the stomach fat, inner & outer thigh fat, love handles, bingo wings, double chins, back fat and more. If you can pinch it, we can freeze it. Fat Freezing works by destroying a proportion of the fat cells in the selected area treated. There is a 20 – 40% of fat reduction in each area treated on average.

Post-procedure your body naturally works to eliminate the dead fat cells, therefore revealing a slimmer, redefined figure. Using the latest technology within the world, we use the 360 Lipo Fat Freezing. Fat Freezing treatments help to shape and sculpt your body whilst boosting your self confidence and self-image.

Treatments are quick and simple. There is no pain, no recovery time and treatments are suitable for men and women of all ages (over 18s).

LIPO Freeze Treatment

Lipo freeze treatment is an effective, non-surgical alternative to liposuction that aims to target stubborn problem areas, rather than putting unnecessary hours in at the gym. This provides a quick and easy solution to contouring your body by freezing unwanted cellulite and reducing up to 20 – 40% of fat in each targeted area treated.

Fat Freezing is a completely non-invasive, safe and effective treatment for the reduction of soft, squeezable pockets of body fat. Using the controlled cooling system of the fat freeze machine, fat cells are frozen for a period of time and gradually dissolved in the body through the lymphatic system. The remaining fat cells are condensed by the body following the treatment, which reduces the layer of fat and leaves the targeted area looking slimmer and more contoured.

Results gradually become visible over the coming weeks, with best results being seen at around 12 weeks. For enhanced results, any area can be treated more than once, although some clients may only need 1 treatment. However, some clients choose to treat an area a couple of times over the course of their body transformation.

There is a wide range of body areas that Fat Freezing can help to rid. These include the following:

  • Upper & Lower Stomach
  • Waist
  • Love Handles (Flanks)
  • Hips & Sides
  • Inner Thighs
  • Outer Thighs
  • Back Area
  • Chest (Man Boobs)
  • Double Chin
  • Upper Arms

The Fat Freezing Treatment

Fat Freezing is also known by the term Cryolipolysis. It is the process of exposing fat cells to freezing temperatures for a specific amount of time. Freezing the fat cells causes some of the cells to die off, and is referred to as ‘Apoptosis’. So in more simple terms the fat cells are frozen to below -5 degrees and this causes natural cell death within the fat cell. The fat cells are then removed by the body through the lymphatic system.

The effect that cold temperatures have on fat cells was discovered over a decade ago. They found that children who regularly ate ice lollies were developing dimples in their cheeks, thus noticing the effects of fat freezing. This lead to them carrying out studies whereby they exposed subcutaneous tissue to freezing temperatures. Their research showed that temperatures below -11°c destroyed some of the exposed fat cells, whilst leaving other tissues like skin and muscle completely unharmed.

3D LIPO Freeze

3D LIPO Freeze is a non-surgical approach to liposuction which is powerful enough to reduce body fat by destroying fat cells. The treatment comprises of four different options and methods used to destroy fat cells and improve the appearance of problem areas:

  • Cavitation
  • Cryolipolysis for fat reduction
  • Radio Frequency for skin tightening
  • Dermatology for cellulite reduction

Combing these treatments will result in less fat, tighter skin and less cellulite in the treated areas.

Cryolipolysis occurs when the fat cells are frozen by the extreme cold which destroys them so that they can then be removed naturally by the kidneys in the weeks after the treatment.

Regular liposuction uses a pen-like medical instrument or cannula, which is used to suction out the fat from under your skin. However, with Lipo Cavitation there is no invasive prodding, or injecting, as a professional technician uses an ultrasound device to perform the procedure.

What Is Fat Freezing

Known medically as cryolipolysis, fat freezing is a non-invasive medical procedure which helps clients to get rid of unwanted bulges of fat, usually targeting double chins, stomachs and ‘love handles’. Many aesthetic practitioners claim that it can help to remove up to 25% of excess fat in the targeted area, however, more research has shown clients lose between 25-40% fat per treatment. During research into cold temperatures on the human body, it was noticed that fat cells would freeze before skin cells and other tissue. During freezing, they would reduce in size as they are naturally destroyed by a process called apoptosis (natural cell death). As such, this information has been used to create an alternative to liposuction, that does not involve invasive procedures, scalpels or general anaesthetic.

During the process, the aesthetic practitioner will place specially designed applicators on your skin which target a specific area, crystallising the fat cells underneath, thus causing a reduction of fat in that targeted area. Each procedure will last between half an hour and two hours, depending upon the size of the target area. This is unlikely to be painful, although some clients have suggested that there is a slight ‘tingling’ sensation. Due to the nature of the process, the treated area will at first feel cold, and then numb.

How Many LIPO Freeze Will I Need?

For most areas, one treatment is enough to see results, rather than requiring a course of treatment. It is important to note that this is dependent on the thickness of the fat deposit and your own personal goals for fat loss. A difference can be seen immediately as the body starts the process of dissolving fat cells, however, the final result will be achieved after 12 weeks, with any additional treatments to be carried out following this period.

Risks

Risks include the possibility of contour irregularities due to uneven removal of fat cells, numbness of nerves lasting weeks or months, swelling, and the chance that the fat will come back. If you decide to go ahead with fat freezing, be sure to ask your aesthetic practitioner about specific risks for the area being treated.
