MED: HIFU Ultra+ Newcastle
HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound) treatment has become one of the most sought-after lifting treatments for the face, neck & body without going under the knife.
MED: HIFU Ultra+ is the latest non-surgical technology using High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) and Micro-Macro Focused Ultrasound (MMFU) to deliver a non-invasive face, neck and body lifting treatment. MED: HIFU Ultra is good for skin tightening and lifting; it also helps with lines, wrinkles, enlarged pores, skin tone and laxity. Just one session can tighten and lift the skin, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and improve skin tone, providing visible results that will last up to 3 years.
The technology is unique in penetrating the dermis and the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) layer, which is deeper than all other non-invasive treatments. The SMAS layer is the same area tightened during conventional surgery; however, unlike surgery, HIFU is more affordable and requires no downtime.
MED: HIFU Ultra+ at our Newcastle Clinic results are 92% more effective with an increased rate of 97% client satisfaction, and all have their own serial number for safety. The new MF2 cartridge allows our aestheticians to treat difficult-to-reach areas, such as around the eyes, which cannot be treated effectively with generic HIFU Ultra
MED: HIFU Ultra+ is ONLY used by approved medical clinics like ours – so you know you’ve got the best care with RT Aesthetics. This differs from the standard HIFU Ultra, which is 70% less powerful and effective but can be accessed from non-medical beauty salons – we are a medical-led clinic.
HIFU Ultra+ With MFU Treatment
MED: HIFU Ultra+ is medical grade and has proven success across the UK. Results last between 18 months and 3 years, which is great and a lot more effective than standard. HIFU treatment is a highly precise medical procedure using high-intensity focused ultrasound. The latest model we have introduced to our clinic includes MFU technology. The MFU method is sharply focused, whereas standard HIFU technology applies multiple beams that can also hit bone and fat tissue. MFU technology allows more energy to penetrate the skin, offering better tightening effects and overall results. With advanced sensors and ultrasound map scanning, we can produce better results with less discomfort and side effects.
HIFU was first developed and widespread for the treatment of prostate cancer. Scientists saw that the men’s genitals were starting to firm & tighten. This was then developed into tightening and lifting the face, neck and décolletage. HIFU was approved to lift skin on the neck, jowls, eyebrow, chin, and décolletage and was proven to improve lines and wrinkles in 2009 and 2012.
HIFU individually targets face, brow, jowl and neck lifting, as well as overall skin tightening, rejuvenation and deeper fat cells. The technology is unique in its ability to penetrate the dermis and the superficial muscular aponeurotic system (SMAS) layer, which is deeper than all other non-invasive treatments. The SMAS layer is the same area tightened during conventional surgery, however, unlike surgery, HIFU is more affordable and requires no downtime.
HIFU fires ultrasound waves that cause micro injuries deep under the surface of the skin. This results in an increased production of collagen and leads to firmer and tighter skin. HIFU treatment for the body uses deeper levels of HIFU, effectively breaking down the fat cells whilst also firming & tightening the skin. HIFU face-lifting can be used for blurred jawlines, nasal folds, sagging eyelids, loose neck folds, fine lines and wrinkles, uneven skin tone or texture and large pores. RT Aesthetics HIFU machines have many different cartridges that can treat various problem areas at the same time.
MED: HIFU Ultra+ treatments are based on hyperthermia lifting theory. The HIFU transducer irradiates 65-75Cº of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) energy into the skin. This then creates thermal coagulation on the target layers of skin tissue with no damage on the skin surface. Following the initial treatment, the skin starts to undergo a wound healing process that simulates collagen synthesis and regeneration. Unlike lasers, radio frequency, surgery and other cosmetic procedures, HIFU bypasses the surface of the skin to deliver the right amount of ultrasound energy to the right depths within the skin at the desired temperature. This HIFU energy triggers a natural response under the skin, causing the body to enter into the regenerative process, resulting in the production of new collagen.
An immediate effect can be seen following HIFU treatment, with clients’ facial contours, skin tone and texture, and wrinkles showing improvement within 8 weeks post-treatment. The effects of HIFU treatment continue to work for up to 6 months as the collagen fibres reorganise and restructure themselves. Clients will notice further improvements, such as skin firming and tightening over the 3 – 6 month period. Results from one treatment will last between 12 – 36 months depending on the client’s current skin laxity and age. Our aesthetic practitioner will go through this during the consultation and design a treatment plan around your own individual goals and needs.
