The cells that go do not come back, so the inches stay off as long as your weight stays roughly steady. Exilis Ultra Body: inches plus tighter skin
Exilis Ultra Body heats the fat layer and the skin above it with radiofrequency and ultrasound, so it reduces a little fat and tightens the skin in the same session. It is the treatment when the inches come with loose or crepey skin, after pregnancy or weight loss, because taking fat from under loose skin on its own leaves it looser. A course of four sessions is £785 for one area and £1,285 for two, and each session feels like a hot stone massage.

Emerald Laser: inches across a wide area
For fat across the whole midsection rather than one pocket, or a BMI that rules the other options out, Emerald Laser empties the fat cells over a course of ten sessions at £2,500, with a Body Ballancer session included every time to clear what the laser releases. What "lose four inches in one session" leaves out
The trick is usually in the measuring. Add up the change at six or eight points on the body and one session of fluid drainage produces a big number. Measure before breakfast one day and after a workout the next and the tape moves on its own. Ask any clinic three questions: is it fat or fluid, when did they measure, and how many points are they adding together.
