Prices are per session. Results usually start to show within a few days, settle at around two weeks, and the treatment is normally repeated every three months or so, after a reassessment and a new prescription each time.

What the price includes

A prescriber assessment before your first treatment, the treatment itself, and ongoing reviews so we can check how the result has settled and plan the next session properly. The review is the part that cheap deals tend to leave out, and it is the difference between a result that looks balanced and one that does not.

Why anti-wrinkle treatment is never advertised by brand name

The products used for anti-wrinkle injections are prescription-only medicines. In the UK that means they cannot be advertised to the public by name, and they cannot be prescribed without a face-to-face assessment by a prescriber. Any clinic offering a named brand at a fixed price on social media, with no consultation, is already outside the rules before you have walked through the door. If you see it, treat it as a warning sign rather than a bargain.

What makes the price vary between clinics

Three things, and only one of them is worth paying more for.

The first is who is treating you. A prescriber-led clinic with a medic on the team costs more to run than a beauty room with a visiting injector, and the price reflects that. It is the thing worth paying for, because it is what protects you if something is not right.

The second is the dose. Some very cheap prices are cheap because the dose is small, so the result fades in six to eight weeks and you are back sooner. Compare the cost per month of result, not the cost per appointment.

The third is location and overheads. A city-centre clinic pays city-centre rent. Our clinic is in Whickham with free parking, which is one reason we can keep three areas at £250.

Is it cheaper to have one area rather than three?

Not by much, and the result is usually better with three. The forehead, frown lines and crow's feet work as a unit; treating one on its own can leave the others looking more pronounced by comparison. If budget is the issue, say so at the consultation and we will tell you which single area will make the most difference for you rather than guessing.

Anti-wrinkle injections versus filler

They do different jobs. Anti-wrinkle injections relax the muscles that crease the skin, which is why they suit lines that appear when you frown, raise your eyebrows or smile. Dermal filler replaces lost volume and structure, which is why it suits cheeks, jawline, chin and lips. Static lines that are there even when your face is at rest sometimes need both.
