How Much Does Fat Freezing Cost in the UK? 2026 Prices and How to Compare Quotes

Fat freezing prices are all over the place, and the reason is not that some clinics are ripping you off (though some are). It is that clinics price it three different ways, so two quotes for the same tummy can look nothing like each other. This page gives you our prices in full, explains what drives a fat freezing quote up or down, and shows you how to compare one clinic with another before you pay for anything.

Fat freezing cost at RT Aesthetics in 2026

We price per area and per session, so the number below is the number you pay. One area of 360 fat freezing is £350 for a single session, or £899 for a course of three. Two areas £450, or £1,199 for three sessions. Three areas £550, or £1,399. Four areas £650, or £1,699. Six areas £850, or £2,099. Eight areas £1,050, or £2,699. An area is usually one applicator placement, so the lower stomach is one area, both flanks are two, and a full tummy with both flanks is typically four. The three ways clinics price fat freezing

Per area, which is what we do: one price per applicator placement, so you can add the placements up yourself. Per cycle, which is how CoolSculpting is usually sold: one price per applicator run of a set length, and an area often needs two or more cycles, so the per-cycle price looks low until you multiply it. Per package, where a clinic bundles a set number of sessions across unnamed areas for a round figure, which is fine if the package matches your body and expensive if half of it treats areas you did not need. Whichever model a clinic uses, the only number worth comparing is the total for the whole area over the whole plan.

What changes the price

How many areas you treat is the biggest factor, and the cheapest way to treat several is to do them in one session rather than one at a time, which is why our two, three and four area prices are far less than four singles. How many sessions each area needs comes next: a small pocket often needs one, a larger one two or three, and a course of three on one area is £899 against £1,050 for three singles. The applicator matters too. 360 applicators cool the pocket from all sides and remove more per session than a standard single-sided cup, so a clinic quoting a lower price per session on older equipment may need more sessions to get the same result. Finally there is the clinic itself: a medically led clinic with a clinic medic and a qualified nurse practitioner on the team costs more to run than a salon with one machine, and that shows in the price and in what happens if something is not right afterwards.

What a fair fat freezing price should include

A proper assessment before you pay, with the area measured and the skin checked, and an honest answer about whether freezing is the right treatment or whether Emerald Laser or Exilis would do more for your particular pocket. Photographs and measurements at each visit so the result is measured rather than guessed. Follow-up appointments included. A practitioner who holds a recognised cryolipolysis qualification and can tell you what device they are using. If a quote does not include those, it is not the bargain it looks.

Fat freezing cost against liposuction

Surgical liposuction removes more fat in one go, and it also means a general or local anaesthetic, incisions, compression garments, a couple of weeks of recovery and a price in the thousands at a private hospital. For a pinchable pocket on the stomach, flanks, thighs, arms or chin, a course of fat freezing gets most people where they want to be for a fraction of that and no time off. Paying for it

0% finance over 12 months is available on treatment plans of £1,000 or more, subject to a credit assessment, so a course of three on two areas at £1,199 spreads to under £100 a month. We also price match any like-for-like medical clinic within a 50-mile radius, so if you have a written quote from another clinic for the same treatment on the same areas, bring it to your assessment.

Is fat freezing worth the money?

For the right pocket, yes: the fat cells that are removed do not come back, so as long as your weight stays roughly where it is, the result stays. For the wrong problem, no: fat freezing does nothing for loose skin, it is not a weight loss treatment, and a course on someone whose weight is still changing is money badly spent. That is why the assessment is free and why we would rather turn you away than sell you sessions that will not deliver. The reduction is in the region of 20% to 40% of the fat in the treated area per treatment, with results showing from about four weeks and complete at six to twelve weeks.

Cheap fat freezing deals: what to check

A very cheap session advertised on social media is often one small applicator, one cycle, on a machine that cools from one side, with no assessment and no follow-up. Ask what device it is and who made it, how many placements your area needs, what the total comes to over the plan, who is doing the treatment and what their qualification is, and what happens if the result is uneven or you get a problem afterwards. Fat freezing has a rare but real risk of the treated fat becoming firmer rather than smaller, and you want to be somewhere that has told you about it and knows what to do.
