What Is Fat Freezing

Fat Freezing is a non-invasive and non-surgical fat reduction procedure. It uses the latest technology called Cryolipolysis, which is the freezing of fat cells by using a controlled cooling. As the fat cells are frozen to below -9 degrees, they start to die away from the cold. Following the fat freezing procedure the fat cells are removed from the body via your natural waste process (urine). They exit the body through the lymphatic system and once these fat cells are removed they are gone for good. This means the fat cells will not return back in the area of treatment. Fat freezing can treat a variety of different areas where you may be experience a lot of fat cells that decides to hide, regardless of the diets or exercise you perform. Fat Freezing treatment can treat many areas on the body such as:

  • Buttocks
  • Arms
  • Knees
  • Inner & Outer Thighs
  • Back Fat
  • Lower & Upper Abdomen
  • Love Handles, and more!

Treatment Day

  • You will first meet with your advance aesthetic practitioner who will go through a face-to-face consultation. This will include a medical history screening, treatment areas and lifestyle questions.
  • Your aesthetic practitioner will then start by measuring your target areas, take photos and go through a consultation ensuring your understand everything and ask any questions you may have.
  • Once the areas have been marked up and wet gel membrane is placed onto the area and the applicator is put onto the targeted area. The applicator will begin suction to pull the fat inside the applicator and the 360 cooling will begin.
  • At the end of your treatment a short massage will be given and advice given on what todo at home.
Fat Freezing Results

The amount of fat freezing treatments you will need for your procedure will just depend on your goals, the treatment area size, and the amount of areas you are trying to treat. You will start to see results at about 4 weeks post-treatment, but the most dramatic results will be seen at about 12 weeks from the initial treatment. You can even see your results up to 4 to 6 months after your treatment.

The results from your Fat Freezing treatment will be dependent on you. RT Aesthetics want to see you satisfied and confident in your skin and therefore offer before and after photos, follow up consultations and 24/7 support. Once you’ve completed your fat freezing treatment and have achieved your results, how long they last will be up to you. Although the fat cells are permanently removed, if you live an unhealthy lifestyle you may gain fat in other areas of the body.

Many find their Fat Freezing treatment to be a motivational factor to eat healthier and maintain an exercise regimen. As long as you maintain a healthy lifestyle, your fat freezing results will last.
