EMS Sculpt Chair

The EMS Sculpt Chair is a highly effective, non-invasive pelvic floor machine for treating stress incontinence. The EMS Sculpt Chair, pelvic floor machine is an advanced medical grade device that uses electromagnetic technology to stimulate and tighten the pelvic floor muscles quickly. Through strengthening the weakened pelvic floor muscles it restores bladder control and eradicates the urinary incontinence for good.

Using HIFEM (High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic) frequencies to independently target the pelvic floor muscles and muscles at the neck of the bladder. This causes the muscles to contract and release, in the same way standard kegel exercises do. However, with the EMS Sculpt chair, the muscles are given a workout equivalent to 11,000 kegel exercises per treatment session!

The treatment also triggers the body’s natural production processes to create new muscle fibres and proteins, which further strengthens and tones the pelvic floor and bladder muscles, and improves the neuromuscular links between the brain and the bladder, which helps significantly to treat the symptoms of urge incontinence.

More Information

The treatment is so effective as it contracts the pelvic floor muscles to what is called the supra-maximal level. As the treatment targets the pelvic floor muscles directly, and doesn’t require neuromuscular control, they can contract far more than they would consciously, creating the highly effective results that we see from our patients that simply can’t be achieved using manual kegel exercises alone.

A course of 6 - 8 treatments are usually recommended to see optimum results, and some client experience highly effective results from as soon as the first treatment.

  • Do you have to undress?
No. The EMS Sculpt stress incontinence treatment does not require a vaginal examination or the removal of clothes. This is great for keeping your dignity.
  • Does Pelvic floor tightening hurt?

No – with this pelvic floor machine you will experience the sensation of tightening vaginal / pelvic floor muscles during the procedure (these feel like small contractions), but it isn’t at all painful.

  • How many EMS Sculpt sessions do I need?

You will require a course of 6 – 8 treatments performed within a 3-4 week time frame. Result can be sustained / topped up by occasional maintenance sessions if required.

  • When will I see the results from EMS Sculpt treatment?

The results from EMS Sculpt will vary on many different factors, such as age, physical condition and BMI. Clients will be able to feel the results from EMS Sculpt after their first treatment. Visible results are best seen 2 – 4 weeks following the last treatment session and these will continue to improve in the weeks following.

  • Can EMS Sculpt help with diastasis recti?

EMS Sculpt is really effective at improving muscle tone and burning fat but it can also be used to help improve diastasis recti. Diastasis recti or rectus abdominis diastasis is common in women post-pregnancy. The pressure on the stomach from pregnancy can cause the abdominal muscles to stretch and separate causing a bulge in the stomach. In most cases the muscles are eventually able to shrink back to their original shape but for some this does not happen. Previously surgery was the only way to rectify this issue which can cause a significant amount of unwanted downtime. EMS Sculpt offers the first non-surgical means of improving this condition boasting a 11% reduction in abdominal muscle separation.
